Christmas 2015

christmas is three weeks today. It's still mild and we haven't had the electric oil radiator on yet.
Tobydog is two and a half now.

Its another year gone by, its June 2014. Next Saturday we set off on our three weeks cruise for 2014. This year we will have an extra crew member, Toby the dog. We think we will head for Banbury, as its a nice run, and we like Banbury and the  Napton Area. The boat has had a coat of paint last year, after our trip, so these will be the first photographs of her in Grey and Black.

Having discovered this blog again, I was horrified to see that its over TWO YEARS since I last was on here. Where does the time go, little Teddy is six now. This is a picture from 2011, after I last wrote, it was the Star lock at Stone.

Another Bank Holiday Approaches

Four weeks on Saturday to our 3 weeks off to cruise. We are thinking we may do the Four Counties Ring this year. Hopefully we will get some sunshine.

The sunset was from our stop between Hopwas and Wittington in April.

Gloucester Docks

This was the view from the waterside flat where we recently stayed in Gloucester Docks. We went down for the boat show, and were lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to stay in this flat which belongs to a friend of mine.

We were very lucky with the weather, and had a visit to the nearby town of Gloucester; we have been to the docks many times before but never realised how close the shops were. There was also a new designer outlet , so lots of shops to explore.

London last week

Can't believe its a whole week since we were Teddying about in London. It was such nice weather, we did Camden on Thursday, and Covent Garden on Friday. Ted was really good, and took grandad Dave to the toilets at regular intervals.

After Covent Garden, on Friday, we went to look at the Thames and the wheel, and we had a drink in the garden cafe at the Embankment.
