This was the view from the waterside flat where we recently stayed in Gloucester Docks. We went down for the boat show, and were lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to stay in this flat which belongs to a friend of mine. We were very lucky with the weather, and had a visit to the nearby town of Gloucester; we have been to the docks many times before but never realised how close the shops were. There was also a new designer outlet , so lots of shops to explore.
